jillian & alex

jillian and alex booked me from the west coast where they were finishing up their chemistry post-docs and in the month surrounding their wedding day they made a move to the east coast, bought a house and got married!

i mentioned earlier this year that there was a theme at my weddings this year... lots of grandparents i'd like to steal. jillian's grandfather and alex's grandmother got up to give a blessing. it became an impromptu stand-up comedy act. completely adorable! i'd hire them for my own wedding. one of my favorite parts was when jillian's grandfather said, 'may the irish hills caress you...' and alex's grandmother responds with, 'ooooohhhh.'
