it's pretty apparent that i am a major animal lover, so of course i was excited when meaghan and brian told me they wanted to do their engagement session at the bronx zoo, a place they really enjoy together. i don't think i'd been there since i was in elementary school and despite my freakishly detailed memory about many things, all i remember about my trip to the bronx zoo is that i bought a comb from the gift shop. hah.
(now my mom is thinking, 'i paid all that money for her to go on a school trip to the zoo
so her one memory about it could be buying a comb?')
this photo makes me happy...
If they had a band, this would be meaghan and brian's album cover.
first track--- the leaf completes it for me
i don't know if meaghan and brian realize this, but i'm afraid of the dark, but i still went in the dark, scary cave to get this shot.
i posted this photo because i love the creeper kid...
the gorillas and monkeys are happy that the zoo brings entertainment for them to watch...
this gorilla pretty much rules...
defcon 1 coolness...this gorilla is happenin'. i dream of being this chill.
oddly enough, as we were walking to the seabird area, i mentioned that it is, in fact, tough to be a penguin. true story.
these two have contagious smiles and laughter...what a blast!
brian roaring at meaghan. the shots of him 'giraffing' her just didn't work...
i love scrunch face...
awww...
while at the zoo i realized that i really need a monkey or a gorilla. i'm totally amazed by their similarities to humans. and yeah, duh, i know we are closely related but it
still totally amazes me...
i had a pleasant surprise when i went to the mailbox the other day, meghan and brian surprised me by sending this beautiful monkey portrait book. so awesome!
