amy & boyne

amy is from wisconsin. boyne is from baltimore. they met in california. made a home in nyc and then threw one heck of a party there!

i had a total blast photographing amy and boyne's wedding. they looked magnificent, they were up for anything and clearly share an awesome love...

yay shoes!

i love peonies and bright colors!

amy is a dentist. this is my obligatory flossing shot...

i just love how amy happened to be peeking down at me!

so elegant...

gorgeous...

and of course you want to see her teeth...

amy was a totally awesome bride. she worked really hard at designing her wedding and the details. she had her nervous moments, but kept her cool. she must have been quite overwhelmed at this particular moment because later on she asked me if i was there when she walked down the aisle... hah.. yes, amy.. i was right there...

i love how happy these two look standing together at the altar...

boyne's brother played guitar, while amy's friend did an amazing job singing 'to make you feel my love'...

when we jumped in the cab i immediately started shooting like it was totally normal to take pictures of people in a cab... because in my world it is... amy then asked the cabbie if he ever drove a bride and groom before. he grinned and said 'no, and you are my first people for today'.

i love when i just stumble upon a bridal party in an alley... hah.

who says new yorkers aren't friendly?

love this!

how freakin' cute is boyne?

uber cute!

i really enjoy this shot...

and i love this too!

the tricky thing about shooting in nyc is trying not to get hit by a car...i always wonder if people think about the death defying acts i engage in just to take a picture.

you gotta love the new yorkers that act like nothing is happening in front of them when clearly something is...

i didn't know you could get m&m's with your face on them?!?

amy and boyne had their reception at location 05...

the reception room was filled with small white tables and some furniture for people to easily mingle. amy and boyne had an awesome table set up for themselves... just like home.

couches, chairs, a fireplace with family photos, a tub... and even....

a bed! so awesome!

toasts... they laughed...

they cried...

they laughed...

boyne is an awesome dancer and so are his friends. i think boyne and a few of my past grooms need to get together to make a 'wedding dancing workout' dvd...

amy and boyne hired my favorite dj.... eric visa!

where's amy?

i never had a guest present their booty in such a way...as this groomsman put his booty in front of my camera and pointed at it, naturally i took a photograph. after a short pause, he shook it... and shook it... and shook it. i think i may have actually blushed.

enjoying the bed... such a great idea!

amy's mother and niece relax on the couch...

and i'll end on this note... literally...

  6. Amy and Boyne are great subjects for photos! I would have expected nothing less from this wedding. Amy has been a artistic, creative, wonder since she was a young girl. True love prevails. I love it!
