kim & dave

when i first met with kim and dave, i knew that they were going to have a great party. they totally had the right idea about how to have a fun wedding. and fun it was!

great weather, no traffic and lots of smiles filled kim and dave's wedding day...

i'm lovin' my brides and their colorful shoes!

universal hairspray squish face...

bridesmaids enjoying the book kim made for her father from his wonderful pictures...

love tess' expression...

i love the warmth between kim and her maid of honor...

the funny thing about this picture is that less than 2 weeks before their wedding, kim and dave received a call that construction would not be done in the church and they would have to find a new place to get married... uh oh....talk about stress, but...it all turned out ok in the end!

some indoor sun flare for dave...

let's be honest... ceremonies are boring for kids. some kids are smart enough to bring their own books for entertainment...

i'm not sure what it is about this shot, but i really enjoy it...

i have no idea what dave was saying here... but i'm thinking something like 'can you believe this, how beautiful it is out, the statue of liberty right there... look at this!'

love this!

i had to incorporate vinny, the rolls royce driver, because he was such a character...

this is what happens when you try to photograph 2 year old triplets.... dave's triplet nieces were born on the night of kim and dave's first date... aw

i love a couple that will sit in the fire for me...(bad joke)

kim is a librarian and dave is a teacher so they brought some of their favorite books to their wedding... ok, not really, but they did have the 'cake boss' make a cake composed of replicas of their favorite books... and it smelled really delicious!

slow, sweet first dance....

straight into partying hard!

i love how i have grooms that are really into dancing! dave could probably get a job as a party motivator if the teaching thing doesn't work out for him. he is hard to keep up with, but kim does a great job of it!

sometimes i take pictures and i'm not exactly sure what is going on. this is either tess with a fly dance move, or tess refusing to dance.. i'm not sure, either way, i like the shot...

hardcore dj...

dave and his friends entertained us with some of their rapping...

cigars by the city skyline...

and i'll end with this shot....
i love people that are genuine and fun and full of smiles and energy and that's exactly what kim and dave are....thanks to david lim and hannah for helping out on this shoot...
