little erin paul is getting married...

ok, so clearly little erin paul is a grown woman, but sometimes i still picture her as that little freshmen on my track team back in the day. i've been lucky to know erin a good portion of her life. our big sisters became best friends a long time ago, so our families have known each other for a long time and i have the honor of shooting erin's wedding next year...

erin and jeff live in virginia, but erin's family has vacationed at the jersey shore for years and years and so it was a perfect place to do their engagement session...

i had never had a chance to meet jeff...and knowing erin for so long, i was curious to meet the man she was going to marry. and i have to tell you... the second i met him, i liked him.

it is always a funny thing to switch into professional mode around people that have known you half your life. if someone told me 15 years ago that i'd be shooting erin paul's wedding...

i would not have believed them.

it is funny the twists and turns life can take you on... and neat to see the people that are still with you when you come around the bend...

i've said it before and i'll say it again, i totally adore monica and jon! they were so easy and fun to photograph and had a crowd that really knew how to party. i have loved working with them every step of the way and wish them all the love in the world...

what cracks me up most about this picture is not that katie refused to take her finger out of her nose for the picture, but that everyone kept telling me how she had jon's personality...

what i loved about shooting monica and jon's wedding was all the smiles and laughter throughout the day...

i had such a blast photographing monica and jon's wedding at addison park. their chemistry is amazing, their smiles are perfect and their family and friends were fabulous!

the second day of omar and kiran's wedding celebration proved to be just as colorful and full of photographic opportunities as the first. their wedding was held at the 'venetian' in garfield, nj. shot with jonathan young.
