jillian & alex

jillian and alex booked me from the west coast where they were finishing up their chemistry post-docs and in the month surrounding their wedding day they made a move to the east coast, bought a house and got married!

love these glasses...

he gave me another disgruntled look during the ceremony... hah...

waiting their turn...

i love that his book is upside down...

lots of happy going on during this ceremony...

love this...

lots of happy going on here, too...

i mentioned earlier this year that there was a theme at my weddings this year... lots of grandparents i'd like to steal. jillian's grandfather and alex's grandmother got up to give a blessing. it became an impromptu stand-up comedy act. completely adorable! i'd hire them for my own wedding. one of my favorite parts was when jillian's grandfather said, 'may the irish hills caress you...' and alex's grandmother responds with, 'ooooohhhh.'

jillian's mom reacting to her dad's performance...

if you are married for 64 years... you get a spot on my blog!

rockin' out to the bstreetband, a springsteen tribute band...

congrats to jillian and alex for pulling off planning an awesome wedding from another coast, making a move, buying a house and scoring jobs at a university!!!

jeannine & sam

it may have be a windy day at the shore, but the weather held out for jeannine and sam's wedding day... lots of love and laughter and even one special furry...

jeannine takes a second to vogue on her wedding day...

love the lace and the light...

i love how the incense slightly fogs this image...

i like the idea of the crowns... the new king and queen are to establish their own little kingdom where they are to provide love and comfort to please one another. that's a nice concept...

love jeannine's reaction...

i like this picture because i am a fan of the cheek-shoulder lean. one way to tell if i like you is if i give you the cheek-shoulder lean...

sam's dad gets censored...

sophie!

i'm a sucker for a senior doggy... sophie is 13 and sooo cute...

love this...

love sam's reaction...

i love how jeannine and sam's parents connected during their first dance...

the guy on the left learned a lesson today: make sure the photographer isn't looking when you attempt to lick a person at a dinner table...

censored again...

sam's dad = adorable

i love the whole chair in the air tradition because the faces of fright mixed with excitement are the best...

i love me an honest dude...

thanks to jeannine and sam and their friend's and family for a wonderful afternoon and for braving the windy shores with me!
