lea & alex

lea and alex had an ambitious plan for their wedding day in poughkeepsie at the grandview... and i have to say they both handled it with grace. i think lea would make a good socialite. i knew lea and alex would have an awesome wedding because they are friends with one of my couples from last year who were totally awesome and that couple was friends with a couple of mine from a few years ago who were totally awesome as well... it's basically awesomonics at it's finest....

pockets!

prada shoes...

i stopped over to see what the guys were up to...

moms!

nice lookin' pair!

it was a very bright and sunny day. i spent a lot of time looking into the sun and hoping i was actually getting them in the picture... ok, just kidding... although i did blind myself a few times with the light! lea and alex were up for my suggestions which made working with them so easy...

admittedly,  i did lose my sight a couple times while shooting the ceremony as the sun was coming down, hah, it made for some really beautiful shots and it was totally worth it!

mazel tov!

i highly recommend couples rent these inflatables...

that turn into real instruments...

i love when a toast creates a great reaction...

haha... alex's mom's response to her son toasting his brother...

orange lights to match lea and alex's orange uplighting...

ben and marissa (who were married at the grandview at this time last year), the happy couple and a veteran wedding guest. loving marissa's attempt at blocking ben's photobombing attempt...

adorbs!

hah. you gotta love alex's dad in this shot! and you gotta wonder what was going on from his perspective....

it's not so shocking to see my past couples and veteran wedding guests at my weddings anymore...

you know it's a good party when the groom is lying on the dance floor!

such a great time working with lea and alex on their wedding day. always fun to see my past couples enjoying each other and veteran weddings guests! thanks to joe spada for assisting me.
